REFERENDUM

The National Assembly for wales was established from the Government of Wales Act(GOWA) in 1998, these leads to an internal referendum in Wales in 1997. Second Government of Wales Act came into force in 2006. National Assembly for Wales was empowered to seek permission to form Legislation on devolved issues in form ofAssembly Measures. In 2006 Welsh Government was created, the excutive body miniters, apart from National Assembly for Wales(the Legislature). The Welsh Government use powers on a wide range of devoved issues that affect mostly all aspect of life in Wales, including Education and Training, Local Government and social welfare.
